On March 3rd, 2017, I went out for and lost a marketing position I really wanted due to a lack of professional blogging experience. I thought about why I hadn't already started a blog. Maintaining a blog would be so easy for me to do; I love to design webpages, discover new ways of marketing through web and social media analytics, and I especially love giving my opinion on basically everything under the sun. And this website could serve as a portfolio for all of my coding and writing abilities for future job openings in my field of Music Business. This is how Fortissimona was born. Update: On August 7th, 2017, I officially started a marketing position thanks, in part, to my efforts with this blog!
I've always loved reading blogs and watching video reviews on the Internet. Below I've listed some of my favorite blogs and YouTube channels that have inspired me to push forward and turn an unfortunate loss into something great. On March 9th, 2017, I made my first blog post. And on March 18th, 2017, I bought my first blog investment, a brand new Nikon camera. I can't wait to make this blog into something worth reading, in addition to writing. Thank you for visiting me today; I hope that you find something posted here that brings a smile to your face or a passion in your heart.

"Simona brings a passion to her work that is enviable, putting herself whole-heartedly into whatever she is doing. Leaving the organization I had worked hard to build was made easier knowing that there were people like Simona in line capable of taking it to new levels. Years later, I continue to see her offering guidance to her own successors. I would welcome any opportunity to work with Simona again."
"There are very few people whom I’ve trusted to take over WNAZ, Nazareth College’s campus radio station, after the years of effort I put in. In the time we worked together, Simona showed that she had the talents needed to organize our staff, our budget, and our program – but more importantly, she had the passion to continue doing it when it became difficult and complicated, which it often did. I would be happy to bring her onboard with any of my future endeavors."
- Eric Stevens, supervisor
"Simona has demonstrated dependability and reliability in many ways: she offers her assistance to any project, works well as a team member and has an exceptional attention to detail. She is professional in all her dealings, is upbeat, energetic and her welcoming demeanor is warm and honest. It has been my pleasure to have Simona report to me and I have every confidence that she will be an asset to have as an employee."
- Kathy Miller, supervisor
"Simona is vibrant, detail-oriented, helpful, and eager to do a good job. She is not only an asset to the productivity of our organization, but a ray of sunshine to work with as well."
- Barbara Brown, coworker
"Simona is a great asset to have in our office! She has great attention to detail and is always looking for ways streamline her job and help others. We can always count on her to get the job done and make the workplace better. I have enjoyed working with her and learning from her."
- Jenni Kohler, coworker
"Simona was extremely resourceful when it came to creating my posters for my senior recital on November 5th, 2016! I look forward to working with her in the future for any future graphic work that I need done!"
- Timothy Dyet, classmate
"Simona is an incredibly driven and determined individual, as I have come to learn after getting to know her at Nazareth College. Her leadership for our college’s radio station showcased her musical expertise alongside her fun, yet professional demeanor. In addition, her gregarious personality made working with her in any setting a joy."
